Gary Lewis started playing tennis very late at 41 years old. Injuries from competitive sports in his youth hampered his training and development. Gary still manages to compete regularly in doubles, achieving an senior ITF world ranking top 300 at doubles and a top 40 mixed doubles ranking 50 and over. Gary has won 3 club titles 1 with Hartley CC in 2011 and 2 with DL Beckenham in 2010 and 2014.

 

Gary manages A1 Pharmaceuticals LTC Aegon teams. Men's 1 under his guidance achieved 7 back to back promotions winning the national Aegon men's team title at their first attempt and is player captain of there men's doubles league teams in Kent and North Kent. The men's North Kent doubles team was newly promoted in 2014 to the 2nd highest men's division B.
