Matthew illingworth was the first pro player to recieve funding which in the first 12 months found him climb over 500 places in the ATP singles rankins since his retirement matt has focused on improving our team players performance at all levels.

Jason Barnett ITF senior tour 2010-12 was sponsored after he became unemployed. Within 2 years and after 16 tournaments including Double Bronze at 2011 world championships he became first player to be ranked no1 world mens singles & doubles ITF senior men's 35 and over.

Marcus Willis (Nov 2012 -present) Marcus was financially struggling to stay on the ITF futures tour A1 stepped in with funds and free management. Incredibly Marcus has climbed from an ATP ranking of 1020 to 428 in only 9 months.

Both Marcus Willis & Jason Barnett are naturally talented players but their greater on court success after receiving A1 sponsorship clearly demonstrates how much difference support that combines both funding & management can make to their climb in the world rankings.

Marcus Willis is the only GB ATP ranked player currently recieving funding which started in november 2012 and will continue to wimbledon 2015 although all our Aegon National tier players receive some funding in return for supporting our aegon national team.

Marcus was financially struggling to stay on the ITF futures tour A1 stepped in with funds and free management. Incredibly Marcus has climbed from an ATP ranking of 1020 to 360 singles and 220 doubles.

Team Murray, and GB team success in 2013 in particular with Dan Evans proves that GB tennis is moving in the right direction.
