Captain Gary Lewis is quoted as saying that A1 Pharmaceuticals Aegon men's 2nd team is at least as strong as the Aegon 1 natioanl champions were when they were promoted to Sussex county div 2 in 2010 and then continued their record run which culminated in their national team title at the first attempt in 2014.

I am confident that this team has core strength and team ethos to emulate this success when after reaching the regional tier within the current rules we will be able to increase our total player nominations for 12 to 21.

Piers has created 2 club records this season winning a single match in just 17 mins and again today in just 25 mins finishing again in herfect time!

Other Aegon club records are Jason Barnett's unbeaten single run an incredible 22 singles wins and no defeats we hope that JB the former world no1 ITF senior can add to the record with his return to the team in 2016.

Piers & Sam proved as xpected far to strong for this Kent county division but both are supporting the club by taking the long term view and are looking to emulate the 1st team back to back promotions with the ultimate goal of joining our 1st team in the national tier in 2019.
